Read the Story

Little monkey Toto was always worried about not having enough time. He wanted to play with toys, read storybooks, play with friends, finish homework, and help mom with chores. Every night, he would say sadly, "Why are there only 24 hours in a day?"

One Saturday morning, Toto found a shining purple gem in the park. He picked it up curiously, and suddenly, the gem emitted a bright light!

"Hello, Toto! I am Tim, the Time Keeper," a voice came from the gem, and then an old man with round glasses and white hair appeared out of thin air.

Toto jumped in surprise. "How do you know my name?"

Tim smiled and said, "Because I can see that you're always worried about time. I'm here to teach you how to become a time management champion!"

"Really?" Toto asked excitedly. "Will I have more time to play?"

"Let's do an experiment first," Tim said, producing an hourglass. "This special hourglass can show us how your time flows throughout the day."

The hourglass began to display Toto's day: slowly getting dressed after waking up, playing while eating breakfast, getting distracted by TV while doing homework, unable to find things he needed for the next day before bed...

"See?" Tim pointed at the hourglass. "You don't have time not because there's too little of it, but because you're not using it well."

Toto nodded sheepishly.

"Let me teach you the four magic keys of time management," Tim said. "They will help you become a time management champion!"

**The First Key: Plan Ahead**

Tim conjured a colorful schedule. "Spend five minutes each morning planning what you need to do, arranged by importance."

Toto saw that the schedule had homework, playtime, helping with chores, and reading time, each with a fixed time slot.

**The Second Key: Focus**

"Do only one thing at a time," Tim said. "When you're doing homework, put toys and TV aside. You'll find that focusing saves a lot of time."

**The Third Key: Time Blocks**

Tim showed a special alarm clock. "Use the 'Pomodoro Technique' – set 25 minutes of focus time, then rest for 5 minutes. This helps maintain efficiency."

**The Fourth Key: Prepare in Advance**

"Spend 10 minutes before bed preparing what you'll need tomorrow," Tim pointed to the backpack and clothes. "This way, you won't be rushing in the morning."

Toto carefully noted these suggestions and decided to try them right away.

A week later, Tim appeared again and saw that Toto's life had been transformed: he completed his homework faster, had more time to play and read, and was no longer always in a rush.

"It's amazing!" Toto exclaimed. "I now have enough time for everything!"

Tim smiled proudly. "Congratulations on becoming a time management champion! Remember, time is the most precious gem, cherish it."

Toto hung the time gem around his neck, and it turned into a beautiful pendant. Whenever he looked at it, he remembered the four magic keys of time management.

Later, Toto taught his friends how to manage time. Everyone was amazed by his transformation, and his teacher even awarded him the "Time Management Champion" certificate!

And Tim would secretly appear when Toto was asleep, smiling at his proud progress. Because he knew that Toto had mastered one of the most important skills in life.
